Radio Traffic Manager

Description:

El Dorado Broadcasters is looking for a candidate as traffic manager. Traffic manager is responsible for multiple high volume FM and AM stations. Traffic Managers are responsible for scheduling advertising and promotions in line with the business strategy of the stations.

Responsibilities include though are not limited to, producing daily commercial logs, order entry and management. Ideal candidate must have strong computer skills as the position is entirely computer based.

Applicants must be extremely dependable and capable of handling high pressure situations. Traffic is a very busy area in which the ability to multi-task is a must. This is a full time, Monday – Friday position.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

•Excellent organizational and administrative skills, and a high attention to detail
•A high level of computer skills – particularly good excel, word–processing, and data handling skills
•Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team
•Ability to work effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
•Good writing and presentation skills
•Knowledge of the Radio market, different station and program styles, and audience demographics
•A good understanding of the radio sales process
•Self–motivation and adaptability
•Determination, diplomacy, and good interpersonal skills

Applicant should have Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college. Six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver's license and vehicle with appropriate insurance

Promotions Street Team

Have you ever thought about working in radio? Do you like going to events and meeting people? New Rock 107.3 is looking to fill an open position in our street team. As a member of the team, you will set up and tear down our live appearances and events, as well as represent New Rock 107.3, along side of our DJ's, to the community. We're looking for out-going and fun individuals who are extremely reliable.

This is a part-time position offering a very flexible schedule. Availability on weekends highly desired. Must have a clean DMV record.
