The countdown is on hold for NASA's first mission to study climate change. NASA stopped the countdown at California's Vandenberg Air Force Base just 46 seconds before the Orbiting Carbon Observatory 2, or OCO-2, was to lift off. The space agency scrubbed the launch because of a failure in the launch pad's water flow. No make-up date has been set.
