Deadly Crash on Highway 1 Yesterday

There was deadly crash on Highway 1 near Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo yesterday afternoon. The CHP says a 70-year-old bicyclist was hit by a truck near Dairy Creek Road. The bicyclist apparently changed lanes in front of the truck and the driver couldn’t avoid hitting him.  He was later pronounced dead at the scene.  No charges were made …

Road Work on Highway 101 and Briscoe Road

They will be closed for nine weeks so Arroyo Grande officials study the interchange project.   The ramps will be closed until Monday, November 30th.
