4 Car Pileup Causes Traffic Delay On 101

Traffic on the 101 South at Highway 58 was backed up after 4 vehicles were involved in a collision. The accident happened around 7:45 this morning. Emergency Drill To Take Place Today At Diablo Canyon

Branch Fire Fully Contained

According to the US Forest Service, the Branch Fire is 100% contained.   The fire started on Saturday in California Valley.  It burned 486 acres in the Los Padres National Forest.   The rural location of the fire and difficult terrain made it quite a challenge to contain. Read More »

NASA To Launch Sun-Monitoring Satellite From VAFB

The latest sun-monitoring satellite from NASA it scheduled to launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base on June 26th. The Satellite will be sent into orbit on a mission to study the sun’s atmosphere and improve space weather prediction. Cuesta College Names New Assistant Superintendent

Cuesta College has named Sandee McLaughlin the assistant superintendent/vice president of student services.  She has served in that post on an interim basis since July 2012. McLaughlin replaces Linda Fontanilla, who left the college for a job at Irvine Valley College.
