Standoff in Pismo Beach Ends Peacefully

A man who barricaded himself in his house in Pismo Beach last night has been taken into custody after a brief standoff with police. He apparently fired a gun in his home. King City’s Police Chief Pleads Not Guilty

King City's acting police chief, an officer and the owner of Miller's Towing are pleading not guilty to charges in the alleged tow-for-profit scheme.  Chief Bruce Miller, Sergeant Bobby Carrillo and Miller's brother, Brian Miller were arraigned Tuesday on bribery and conspiracy charges.  They're accused of impounding cars belonging to mostly poor, Spanish-speaking residents and reselling them for profit.  Read More »

Victim Identified in Fatal Car Accident

The Coroner's Unit of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim involved in a fatal car accident which occurred on 3-14-14 on Picachio Road in Cayucos.
