Lompoc Man Pleads Guilty to Trafficking Counterfeit Software

A Lompoc man pleads guilty to a federal charge of trafficking counterfeit software. 52-year-old Jeffrey Scott Patterson faces up to ten years in federal prison. Investigators estimate Patterson made more than one half million dollars over eight years selling the counterfeit software. Patterson is scheduled to be sentenced on June 27th.

San Luis Obsipo High School officials attribute the fire at their baseball equipment shed to arson. The fire Friday night caused more than $25,000 in damages.
