You may want to reschedule any outdoor activities you have planned for tomorrow. The San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District is advising people of high winds that may blow sand and dust in the Ocean Dunes and Nipomo Mesa area.
Expect decreased air quality from 11 AM to 7 PM with the most dust from 1 PM to 5 PM. County officials recommend that everyone should avoid strenuous activity, remain indoors, and set all heating and air conditioning systems to recirculation.
If going indoors doesn’t provide relief from adverse health effects from the dust, temporarily leaving the area is advised.
