Police Investigate Suspicious Death At Atascadero Home


The Atascadero Police Department is investigating what they say is a suspicious death of a female.  It happened at a house on the 4300 block of Tranquilla Avenue. Investigators were on the scene for several hours last night and blocked off three different streets in the area. Officials say no one is in custody at this time.

Lompoc Church Burglary Suspect Arrested


A Lompoc man is in jail on suspicion of burglarizing a church. Police say the burglar took several items from the church last October. DNA evidence from the scene identified 49-year-old Kenneth Quick as the suspect. Lompoc Police arrested Quick at his home on Tuesday, where they say they found stolen property from the church.
