Missle Launced From Vandeberg Air Force Base


A Minuteman Three Missile was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base around 3:30 this morning.  The unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile is the second test launch in a week. A Minuteman Three was successfully tested on September 22nd.   The Air Force says it is checking the readiness, effectiveness, and accuracy of the weapon system.

Man Pleads No Contest To DUI Hit And Run Charges


Vincente Montes pleaded no contest yesterday in court to charges of hitting and killing two people while driving intoxicated on Highway 46.
