Lompoc Fire 90% Contained


The San Miguelito vegetation fire has burned about 832 acres and caused $862,000 in damage since it started at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon on San Miguelito Canyon Road in Lompoc. A vegetation fire broke out in Lompoc yesterday around 1:30 p.m. on San Miguelito Canyon Road. About 700 acres have been burned. Drug Raid in Arroyo Grande


An Arroyo Grande drug raid led to the arrests of eight people last Thursday at around 7 a.m. on Sunset Drive. Police found heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, and cash at the Arroyo Grande home. A Cal Poly student tested positive for norovirus and 27 other students have similar symptoms.
