Proposal for New Homes Around Vineyards Denied


The proposal to build 82 homes surrounding the vineyards at Latetia Winery is denied by the San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission. The vote to deny was 3-1.  Commissioner Jim Harrison cast the lone dissenting vote. Commissioner Eric Meyer abstained. The developer is expected to appeal the decision to the full board of supervisors.

At the Morro Bay Community Center last night, a decisive vote by the California Coastal Commission. Commissioners voting 7-5 in closed door session to dismiss Executive Director Dr. Charles Lester.
